“I watch European football and the level of refereeing is lower. It is allowed to play very aggressively.
“Here I think, generally speaking, the level is good. We are always going to make mistakes; they are part of the game. They have to be reduced though.”

Paraguay vs Ecuador could be a tight affair with Los Guaranies expected to line up Roque Santa Cruz, Nelson Haedo Valdez and Lucas Barrios in attack whereas Ecuador are set to respond with the influential Antonio Valencia down the right wing. The match is set to begin at 18:30 local time.
